Business Analyst

The nature of the project is
  • Understand customer requirements and translate into technical deliverables across a wide array of products and technologies.
  • Analyze and understand the current Cash Management product offerings within the bank in general.
    Create business model and logical data models for cash management products.
  • Reverse engineer the business model for the Cash management products on existing applications.
  • Interface with and collaborate with the technology and architect team to help identify and define services interfaces for SOA.
  • Partner with the business and technical teams and create and maintain the Functional design for the various modules in the platform.
  • Identify, create and maintain Functional Requirements, User Interface requirements and Service interface requirements per the processes established in the organization.
    Document and maintain Use Cases, Functional design, and System Specification.
  • Follow the SDLC process established in the organization and create and maintain all relevant requirements artifacts.
  • Support development, QC and UAT teams of the various projects.
  • Act as subject matter expert on the various domains.

  • College degree
  • 7+ year minimum Business Analyst experience with enterprise level financial applications
  • Prior experience with Cash Management products and Electronic Banking platform must have
  • Cash Management
  • Payments
  • Direct Debit
  • FX
  • Global and Regional Payments Clearing and Settlement processes and settlement systems
  • Ability to understand customer business process and requirements and translate into a functional requirement across a wide array of products and technologies.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data).
  • Prior experience with UML.
  • Ability to draft Use Cases, Process Flows, Activity Diagrams.
  • Experience with creating data models, process flows and sequence diagrams are must.
  • Expertise in Word, Excel, Power Point & Visio is a must.
  • Good analytical and problem analysis skills.
  • A strong commitment to quality and efficiency.
  • Excellent multitasking ability - Must have ability to track multiple issues, effectively manage time and competing priorities, and to drive results through partner organizations.
  • Relationship management skills -ability to develop and sustain positive partnerships and be a team player.
  • Experience of using UML, SQL/PLSQL knowledge are desired but NOT required.
  • Detail oriented and well organized.
  • Prior experience with Requirements Management tool including DOORS / Blueprint highly desired.
  • Prior experience with Sharepoint
