Detailed Info:

• 8+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity; including all phases of a project lifecycle from requirements to production deployment.
• 5+ years experience in Web based applications development projects at a Financial Institution.
• 3+ years experience with large functional teams and processes following SDLC guidelines.
• PMI certification required, PMP certification preferred.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint.
• Demonstrated experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is critical.
• Must have had enough technical skills to identify technology solution and requirements fulfillment gaps Must be as comfortable discussing requirements with Business teams as well as with the technology teams Demonstrated experience in personnel management

Development/Computing Environment:

 

• Ability to react to project adjustments promptly and efficiently without compromising quality.
• Ability to prepare/maintain detailed project plans and manage all project tasks.
• Ability to provide project status updates and prepare presentations accordingly.
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Must be flexible during times of change and adapt according to change in direction.
• Must have exposure to dealing with geographically dispersed teams and the ability to adapt to different communication styles from all disciplines.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
• Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise.
• Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
• Early morning hours (6am-8am) and late PM hours (8pm-10pm) may be required to accommodate Global team members schedule.
• Sitting for extended periods of time, due to conference calls and documentation requirements.
• Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients.
