Regional Director/Presales

Consulting firm servicing fortune 500 companies is seeking a Regional Director/ Presales for a full time opportunity.  


Job nature
As the Presales and Consulting leader of the Industry group in the US, this job involves working closely with the clients/prospects to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Sales, Marketing, Engagement and Delivery functions to ensure efficient solution definition, response to RFI/RFQ, functional estimation and support the Sales and Delivery organization in the project execution and sustenance as and when required.

  • Experience in core functional areas in OSS/BSS like Order Management, Inventory Management, Network Management, Service Activations, Service Fulfillment and Billing System
  • Understanding of complex system Integration and data migration challenges across OSS/BSS domain.
  • Understanding of some of the emerging areas like cloud, analytics, mobility etc.
  • The ideal candidate has a strong background of working on multiple engagements on the core Telecom Technology product portfolio (Middleware, Database, Architecture, BI) and can able to define the ,most optimized, feasible and innovation solution 
  • The candidate will essentially be a prime candidate by having ability to transform his knowledge to sell IT services as a business enabler to senior end client business & IT executives. 
Development Details
Experience
  • Total Industry experience of 8 to 12 years , out of which worked extensively in the US geography on Presales/consulting role for a minimum period of 5 years.
  • Worked closely with Sales, marketing, Engagement, Delivery and other enabling functions  in wining  minimum 5 multimillion dollar contracts in the CSP industry.
  • Involved in the end to end solution definition and offerings for at least 3 sizable customer contracts.
  • Well versed on the synergies of Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 TSP and ISV enterprises in Northern Americas
  • Domain/Industry: Telecom, Media and Communication Industries 

  • Understanding customers' requirements & processes and providing solutions, identifying repeatable solution patterns. 
  • Advocate and create reusable-assets, development of Industry associated best practices and definition of specific industry specific offerings and solutions.
  • Very good client handling, customer centric, coordinating with multi stakeholders; handle conflicts and responsiveness are some of the pre-requisites.
  • Strong ability to learn and able to spot opportunity in every adversity is a mandatory skill. 
  • Ability to understand and capture business and technical requirements
  • Ability to develop a broad awareness of the client's business architecture and emerging technologies with enough knowledge to determine what is and is not possible.
  • Knowledge of strategic, conceptual, consultative selling 
  • Production of responses to Requests for Information and Requests for Pricing.
  • Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the services and solutions including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, etc.
  • Coordinate requirements for proofs of concept with Sales and Delivery Management
  • Attendance at conferences and working with Subject Matter Experts, and research to stay on top of changes in business issues/requirements/regulations/Technology and understand where the market is going.

Sr. Business Analyst Position 21795


  • Understand customer requirements and translate into technical deliverables across a wide array of products and technologies.
  • Analyze and understand the current Cash Management product offerings within the bank in general
  • Create business model and logical data models for cash management products.
  • Reverse engineer the business model for the Cash management products on existing applications.
  • Interface with and collaborate with the technology and architect team to help identify and define services interfaces for SOA.
  • Partner with the business and technical teams and create and maintain the Functional design for the various modules in the platform. 
  • Identify, create and maintain Functional Requirements, User Interface requirements and Service interface requirements per the processes established in the organization.
  • Document and maintain Use Cases, Functional Design, and System Specification.
  • Follow the SDLC process established in the organization and create and maintain all relevant requirements artifacts
  • Support development, QC and UAT teams of the various projects 
  • Act as subject matter expert on the various domains 
Development Environment Details
  • College degree
  • 7+ year minimum Business Analyst experience with enterprise level financial applications 
  • Prior experience with Cash Management products and Electronic Banking platform must have Cash Management,  Payments, Direct Debit, Foreign Exchange, Global and Regional Payments Clearing and Settlement processes and settlement systems
  • Ability to understand customer business process and requirements and translate into a functional requirement across a wide array of products and technologies.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data).
  • Prior experience with UML.
  • Ability to draft Use Cases, Process Flows, and Activity Diagrams.
  • Experience with creating data models, process flows and sequence diagrams are must
  • Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio is a must. 
  • Good analytical and problem analysis skills.
  • A strong commitment to quality and efficiency
  • Excellent multitasking ability - Must have ability to track multiple issues, effectively manage time and competing priorities, and to drive results through  partner organizations.
  • Relationship management skills -ability to develop and sustain positive partnerships and be a team player.
  • Experience of using UML, SQL/PLSQL knowledge are desired but NOT required.
  • Detail oriented and well organized. 
  • Prior experience with Requirements Management tool including DOORS / Blueprint highly desired.
