PMO ANALYST POSITION (20240)


Project Nature

• Define and document processes for best practices and standards in the program and project management space; create templates relating to these standards and best practices
• Work with project and delivery teams to implement process improvements and best practices
• Perform tollgate reviews (formal checkpoints between specific project phases) and other program and project reviews to ensure adherence to governance standards
• Provide weekly program portfolio reporting for the department
• Collect and report metrics

Computing/Development Environment details

• Minimum: Bachelor level college education.
• PMP certification.
• 3 years experience in PMO function or as hands-on IT project manager.
• Familiar with project management methodologies, including SDLC and Agile.
• Expert in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, charts), PowerPoint, MS Project
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently, and getting things done

Preferred

• Experienced working in the financial services industry
• Knowledge with MS Access 
• Familiar with SharePoint
